I don't even know where to start with how many problems there currently are at this gym. Firstly, myself and pretty much every single member received the same text message about a new machine being introduced to the gym. Like the previous reviews have stated, this machine is non-existent. Secondly, one of the treadmills are almost always out of order and take ages to be fixed. The gym equipment itself is satisfactory, I wouldn’t consider it to be a wide range though, the dumbbells only go up to 10kg. There isn’t a lot of floor space, which arguably of course isn’t the gyms fault however I wonder if they removed a few of the machines they have a lot of (cross ramps, cycling machines) it would open up the space and leave room for more equipment. I would like to start by saying that I appreciate that this is a women only gym - this is why I attend. Also, the staff (especially Holly, who has gone out of her way to answer my queries) are very good and friendly. On the odd occasion I have spoken to Katie, she has also been lovely. I agree with the last reviewer, this place is definitely not was it was, sadly. This gym has really gone downhill. I rejoined with my friend hoping to enjoy the great facilities they used to have, but the spa is completely out of service, the sauna is ineffective, and the showers are unreliable. The management clearly doesn’t care about maintaining the quality that once set this gym apart. Very disappointing.☹️
