I called there several times for my boss who needed information on a new property he aquired. Spoke with two seperate women who were very helpful and retrived the information I needed immediately over the phone. Thank You for being so helpful. I talk to people everyday from all over the globe. Nice to know that The Town Of Union has good, kind employees.
Office staff are argumentative, stand-offish, and uninformed. I was sent on a wild goose chase (more than once) by those under-performing and unknowledgeable "civil servants" who were anything but. The saving grace was actually talking to and dealing with the Assessor himself, Joe Cook. He seems to be a very knowledgeable man and a straight shooter. Very polite and easy to converse with. Highly recommend talking directly to him versus the oblivious typing staff.
Unfortunatly both times I have called this office the person on the phone was bothered by the fact that I even called to ask a question. The second time for a different questio nshe was ready to hang up before I could even ask. Disappointed
