Besides a low interest rate, I have failed to find a good user experience with this bank. It feels stuck in the 1920s. No easy way to make additional principal mortgage payments unless you are also a regular bank customer. Have to physically mail a paper check or come by the Westerville office - which is out of town for me. If you are a user who does a lot independently and electronically - go somewhere else as you'll be frustrated here.
I've been to the Westerville branch and the Reynoldsburg branch. Both have top-notch employees, professional and polite. When my mother passed away, Mark Ginty guided us through the process with her accounts. He was compassionate and patient with my brother, sister and I. I would highly recommend Union Savings Bank.
The Westerville branch of Union Savings Bank is a great place to bank. The rates of return are very competitive. Their preferred checking account earns more than many savings accounts at other banks, plus it's totally free checking!
