Good people working the Union City BART station booth. But station maintenance is poorly executed with too many of the platform lights out. This results in less than comfortable travel at night. As well as drug deals being offered on the platforms. The poor lighting at the Union City BART station is in stark contrast to the brightly lit platforms of the Bay Fair BART station. BART Management should look into re-engineering platform lighting of the Union City BART station. And rethinking site maintenance schedules too.
