Sarah is amazing!!! Sarah isn't with thos company anymore. They are left with dimwits running this place.
This company illegally collected a large amount of money from my disabled father that is fighting cancer. They constantly harassed him and kept changing the payoff amount he owed. When my mom pressed them for correct documentation the representative told her nobody wanted to talk to her and hung up. These are predatory scam artists and it should be illegal for them to rob people like this
I've tried to contact their lawyer many times. No one really knows that it's illegal to be forced to pay off a third party for a debt by the original party. You don't have a contract with UNIFUND GROUP. They have to provide signed documents that you agreed to pay them. They shake down the less fortunate by strong arming your employer. Everyone has the right to sue UNIFUND and win.
The fact that companies like this can exist by buying up old wage garnishment judgments against you and claim them 10+ years later, shows that something is seriously wrong. It was easier for me to just file for bankruptcy than dealing with this business.
So Unifund owned one of my debts. These idiots apparently AFTER PAYING THE DEBT OFF decide to delay the reporting of the payoff to the credit bureaus for almost 3 MONTHS LATER...
