The owner of this store bought squishmallows (large stuffed animals) at Costco for $20 per item and is now selling them at her store for $49.95. The worst part of this is that when she was stuffing her cart full of them at Costco (at least 15) there were families asking to purchase them. She didn't look anyone in the eye, kept going, and walked away from the empty box at Costco. I am so surprised at what my daughter experienced when trying to return a small gift that I purchased and was reassured she could return if it was not right for her. She was told by the owner, her choice was not in style and discouraged to buy anything else. When my daughter asked the cost of the return the owner replied just buy what you want, that’s not what she asked! It was rude! Came to the store today to buy some Atlanta Braves items. There were signs for 50% off on certain sporting items so I wanted to see if this particular item was on sale as well. I asked an associate who went to check. As I was waiting the owner came up. I asked her the same question. She told me the area I pulled the item from was the “baseball section “ which didn’t really answer my question. Stopped by to purchase lotion for a friend that is to have surgery soon. As I came into the store, I was warmly greeted by the sales clerk, and she asked if she could help me. I told her I was looking at the time, and she returned to the front of the store. All of a sudden, I heard the angry voice of another woman who was criticizing the sales clerk for how she packaged an item. I moved so she might be aware of my presence. It did not matter.
