My family & I ordered the 4ft Hero pkg. It was 2ft of an American hero & 2ft of an Italian hero, macaroni & potato salads, cole slaw, all paper goods including a tablecloth & assorted Italian cookie platter. I arranged it with Cameron in the catering department of the East Meadow store. Everything was ready to go when I went to pick it all up. The recipients of the food we gifted it to were very very pleased!!
I want to like this place, I just feel for the prices they charge the quality should be a lot better. Here's a few examples: grilled chicken is being sold for $15 a pound and on the label they just write oil as one of the ingredients. I asked one of the chefs what kind of oil is this and he told me it's soybean oil. For $15 a pound why is it used with disgusting seed oils? Shrimp grill, being sold for $16.99 a pound. Wow! Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is the go-to place for anything Italian on Long Island. I always joke with people that Uncle Giuseppe is my uncle because I’m there so often!
