Rude customer service
Phone staff at this location was unbelievably rude. I’ve banked with Umpqua most of my adult life and had never had a bad experience prior to a phone call with the branch staff at this location on 08/04/2025. I was mocked, made to feel belittled and told contradictory information. When pointing this out to the staff member with their own words and asking to speak with a manager, I was hung up on. The South Sixth St. location is wonderful and full of amazing staff, unlike this location.
I've seen some of the negative reviews on here about poor customer service at this bank and my advice is take to social media and call this bank out and get people in this town to boycott this bank and maybe then they will work on implementing good customer service training like we as customers deserve in this town. Everywhere I go in this town to shop and do business I have to always encounter poor and rude customer service from these businesses and it is unacceptable. It is time that this stops!
