Very unwelcoming to new people. The tellers made me feel like a criminal when I asked to buy two rolls of pennies. The teller who took my dollar presumed it was counterfeit and really looked it over. Standoffish rude tellers. They stared when I walked in, making me feel like I didn't belong. That's no way to treat a potential account holder. I'll take my inherited wealth elsewhere, no way would I open an account here.
Haven’t been able to access my online account for months and when I came in to an office to close my account due to poor accessibility I was charged 90 dollars for a print out of my monthly statements from the last year. Don’t walk run away from this bank. It has been a very bad experience with my business account.
My husband and I have been using Umpqua for about 5 or 6 years now. They worked with us after a very large sum of money went missing in our checking account due to several back to back fraudulent transactions. I deducted a star because they are no longer open on Saturdays and they close at 4pm on weekdays. As someone who works a typical 9 to 5 job working around their open hours is nearly impossible unless I take time off of work.
