WITHOUT QUESTION, UMB is the WORST BANK I have ever used. My friend and I had thousands of dollars in an IRA account as well as checking and savings accounts at UMB. When she got sick, UMB did everything possible to impede her withdrawal of the money needed to pay for her medical treatment. After months of resistance, we finally found an associate who helped us. I recently opened a checking account with direct deposit. When I walked in I was warmly greeted. I told them I wanted to open an account and I immediately seated at a desk with someone to setup my account. Absolutely no wait time. They made the process so smooth and easy. I would recommend UMB to everyone. Great experience.
