When I first started banking with UMB I loved my account! The past 2 yrs has gotten worse. One of the issues I had with my account today I tried to call the bank to speak to manager I was referred to speak with , I spoken with a manager named Micheal and as I’m trying to explain what’s going on with my account he cuts me off each time and responds with an attitude. He should not be dealing with customers especially customers who are already dealing with issues with there account and trying to reach out to you guys for help .... read more
WARNING: PREDITORY BANK (1) NOT BBB ACCREDITED DUE TO LARGE NUMBER OF UNRESOLVED CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS, (2) HAS BEEN SUED CLASS ACTION ALMOST ANNUALLY SINCE 2021 FOR REARRANGING TRANSACTIONS TO MAXIMIZE ON OVERDRAFT FEES, (3) PROBABLY THE ONLY BANK THAT ISSUES DEBIT CARD ON MONEY MARKET ACCOUNTS AS A WAT TO CHARGE UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS $15 PER TRANSATION FEES AND (4) LURE IN CUSTOMERS WITH HIGH-YIELD SHORT-TERM CD YIELDS THEN LOWER RATES. BANK HAS IN-HOUSE LEGALS SO THEY DON'T CARE TO BE SUED.
Today is May 8 2026 last Friday we had 2 deposits 2 different accounts somehow they put my deposit in my husband's and his in mine!! Today we sent our deposits in and sat through 3 other people pulling up and getting theirs 1st!! Disappointed!!
Poor customer service. They arent consistent with their policies, making it very difficult to know what is right and wrong. Extremely poorly managed.
