I got a couple Small checks under $70 from a warranty company, and they were drawn on UMB bank so I was going to go up there to cash them. I had three checks all drawn from the same company who had an account with UMB. umb's check cashing policy stated that they would have to charge $7 for each check cashed. literally 10% of every check. and even though they were all drawn from the same company they wanted to charge me a check cashing fee for each check. here's the kicker, went to a check cashing place who cashed the checks ... read more

I’ve banked at UMB for decades and never a problem. I love that they’re practically in my back yard!
I have a been customer since 1993. Made a 2k deposit yesterday that they never posted. . (Was told it did not scan correctly) Only knew by trying to make a purchase online today as my card was not accepted. Called UMB customer service and was told I needed to go back to the bank where the transaction occurred. WHAT IF I WASN’T OFF TODAY??
