I was visiting from Oregon, where I religiously go to Whole Foods. The Co-Op has a lot of the same brands that I get at Whole Foods. They are ripping you off here. I spent $150 and got half the amount of food that I can get from Whole Foods for $200. Again, THEY ARE RIPPING YOU OFF. The price difference was literally shocking. When I was planning my revolve-around-work trip to Ukiah (from San Rafael,) I expected the Mendocino County version of NuggetMarkets, TheGoodEarth, or MollieStone’s, but it was more like the tiny Driver’s Market in Sausalito. I was disappointed in them not having pineapple and their high-priced meager selection of Amy’s microwave meals. However I decided to buy a Ukiah-unique souvenir T-shirt. Best selection of organic and non gmo foods and produce
I'm addicted to their salad bar now, but added some of my homemade gluten free croutons when I got home. The goddess dressing is so good! They have all the fixings and good protein options like turkey or chicken and hard boiled eggs. Aside from the salad bar it's a great health food store with tons of healthy options.
