In late 2024, thousands of dollars were fraudulently transferred from my account to other member accounts, then sent externally. Despite never sharing my login credentials, answering unknown calls, or clicking suspicious links, UK Credit Union repeatedly blamed me for the breach and insisted I change my passwords. Trice Glass dropped the ball when it came to navigating my daughter & son-in-law in first time homebuyers. Never tried to meet them in person,everything email or text. And in the end at the closing day to sign she didn’t answer her phone or call back. Daughter called twice to confirm amount and was giving wrong amount leading my daughter to have to leave signing and go back to bank to get more money..And when you talk to someone as UK credit union all they say is she usually is really good. A terrible bank. They charge a $10 convenience fee to pay your bill online and to beat it all, their online bill payment is down half the time I go to pay.
If you always stay ahead on everything and never in a pinch, the rates can be pretty good--just like every other credit union. But if you have a question, and need it answered quickly, no one seems to be able to help and there is no urgency. I've ended up with 30 day lates on my credit report because I misunderstood the way the payment due amounts and dates are presented (this is the only bank that's ever been an issue with, and I've dealt with dozens).
