Unless you want to be basically called stupid I wouldn’t even bother emailing or calling them. I was supposed to attend last fall for my freshman year and I ended up getting diagnosed with cancer. I did all the necessary steps for any and all fees to be appealed but it got approved but never taken off my account. So I emailed again hoping to see why it’s been a MONTHS and I’m still being charged for a school I never attended. Horrible costumer service. They never answer phone calls and their email responses are of no help. Maybe going in person would offer some sort of help but if you don’t have the time and are looking for a convenient, remote help option, you won’t get it.

No type of help, UIC is a great school but its financial and bursar offices are no help and the customer services people are rude and not helpful, they need new staff!!! Or needs people who can actually help its students.
Spoke to Maria on the phone- was completely rude and acted like my problem wasn’t her problem.
