As far as I know these hospital was good but now I can say it’s the worse place. I wouldn’t recommend. go to any hospital before coming here to the emergency room. People are always rude and have you waiting for hours before they treat you.
I used to recommend UC Health to everyone I knew, now I would say RUN go out of town if you have to, has become such a disappointment. Went to the ER my mom was having oxygen issues, spent 3 hours waiting, I get it they were busy. I made sure to let them know my mom has memory issues I would need to be with her they assured me when she got a room they would come get me, after an hour I went to the front desk they told me she was still doing test, 45 minutes later I went back and they said oh she's in a room. I am not from the area and landed in Denver when I knew I was having a complication from previous surgeries. I was amazed by the care I received from the staff in the ER, the 6th floor where I was admitted overnight for observation, and by the Colorectal team (led by Dr. Vogel). Being out of town and having a medical emergency was truly terrifying but I received amazing patient care from the moment I entered the ER until discharge. I had heart surgery here. I am totally amazed at quality, professionalism, and genuine caring entire staff provided. It is a very big hospital. So, sometimes it seems overwhelming, but everone who works here is kind and very well trained. I hope I never have need of thier services in the future, but if I do, I would travel across the continent to be fixed by them.
The wound care lady who makes appointments needs to lose her job. Horribly rude and only wanted to talk and not listen at all. The HELL WITH THIS PLACE!!!!!!
