I am a UCD professor from main campus, and happened to be in the area of Blaisdell in the course of my new commute routine. I had some extra time and was expecting to be able to enter and sit at a table and get some work done. BUT NO—entry is by UCDHS badge only. (We let them in our library across the causeway—& I always thought we were the same university). I am sitting at an outside table feeling like an outsider.

I miss this place. A great place to study. I am in an NP program (not through UCD), so it’s nice to have a local medical library. Great resource. Nice cafe, lots of study nooks. Open open open.
