I brought my laptop in for a cleaning and was quoted $60. They told me they didn’t have thermal paste and needed three more days — I said OK. But when I came to pick it up, they suddenly wanted to charge me $90. I was really confused and asked why, because no one told me about the extra $30 upfront.
