I have now used U-Pack 3 times for cross country moving between NC and NV and all have gone great. Most recently, Kevin helped with the initial booking and later unexpected need for us to load another partial truck last minute. Always there to help or quickly calling me back if on another call. All went great with both trucks. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Initially I got a couple other quotes online but good reviews were not easily found or any of them. Don't believe the 5-star reviews; it's obvious they are fake or written by U-Pack employees in order to boost their rating. It is very likely they are utilizing companies whose sole purpose is to spam 5-star reviews on sites like these. Now, on to my experience. The online quote is misleading at best and predatory at worst. It's not an estimate; it's a lie. The quote will be at least $1,000 less than the actual cost. Today we were held hostage by truck#43313. What bothers me is that he insisted putting his convenience before others. Not only could he have backed up he could of pulled forward but decided to block us in. Then he tells us it would be 10-15 minutes as our parking meter had ran out. I will admit, it did not take him that long but to take up someone else time because you don't want to take up your own while you're working is REALLY selfish.
Stellar experience with U-Pack. Customer service was excellent, and both the drop off and pick up were on time. The drivers we dealt with were incredibly friendly and helpful in explaining how to work the ramp, the doors, the bulkheads, etc. We would certainly recommend U-Pack to anyone looking for a moving company!
U pack made my move easy. They always answered the phone , the drop of and pick up were on time . They Never rushed me made me feel comfortable . Delivery was the same we made arrangements for drop off they called me when they were about to leave so I can meet them. One drawback was the ramp , I felt it should’ve been longer a little steep , it was heavy and hard to move around.
