We chose UPack at the recommendation of a neighbor on Nextdoor and the crew we hired to load our truck recommended them. They were more competitive than the larger haulers as even competitive with other smaller moving companies. Every time I was on the phone - either their national number or local dispatcher, everyone was courteous, polite and seemed to know about my move and care. I feel so blessed and privileged to have found Upack. My daughter was admitted to med school and needed to move from California to New Mexico. I researched many moving container and pod companies and even looked at the cost of renting a DYI truck (this is how I have moved my daughter in state for her Bachelors and Masters). Since this move would require a lot more time and more items being moved as well as my daughter's car being towed at the same time. I found it more affordable to rent the Upack container. They dropped the trailer off early, which was awesome; let me get a head start. The drivers at drop off and pick up were super polite. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because one half of the bulkhead to secure my belongings was broken. I called and informed the originating location in El Paso. That told me to secure it as best as I could, and they would install a new bulkhead in the freight yard. Very disappointed. The packing in Las Vegas NV went smooth. Company is very affordable which we liked. We had tried calling multiple times and it was hard to get through to someone. When we got to NM we called on Thursday to see when it could get it delivered and they told us only Tuesdays and Thursdays, which we didn’t know. We then scheduled for Tuesday and waited but they didn’t show up, so we called again and they said they hadn’t received payment.
