I was disappointed to find out upon arrival that a full driver’s license is required to rent a vehicle—something the phone representative failed to clearly communicate. This resulted in a wasted trip and unnecessary frustration. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. UPD: I’ve been renting vehicles for my business for years from various companies, and none of them have required what you're claiming. Personal car was with MPI after an incident and I had no car. I filed the claim and started calling every car rental place to proceed with my loss of use coverage, but everyone single one had no cars available except for U-Drive on Pembina, and while they weren't my first call I made, because of where I live in proximity to them, going forward, they will always be my first call whenever I need a rental.
