Applied TWP 1500 deck stain that I bought slightly over 1.5 yrs ago. Stain went on like normal but never soaked into wood and left a shiny film on top that just scuffs off. Called Amteco technical customer service and was told this stain has a shelf life of 18 months after opening. Shelf life is not posted on my 5 gal container or any instruction literature that I could find. Not pleased with TWP and will use another brand after I strip the deck and start over.
