After dealing with a very bad moving company in the past, Two Men and a Truck was professional, timely & PROFESSIONAL. MOST IMPORTANT. The price was worth move and there were no concerns. Solid service.
We used Two Men and a Truck for our move from Bethesda, MD, to Coral Gables, FL. We chose the crate option to be more economical. Unfortunately, the final cost ended up similar to direct service from other competitors, while the experience was significantly worse. The biggest issues were communication and execution. Our salesperson, Ivy, never clearly explained that the crate service involved two separate quotes, so we were surprised by an additional ~$1,500 balance after already making four separate payments. My experience with Two Men and a Truck was good overall. The movers were friendly, and hardworking. However, my furniture cushions could've been handled with more care. I would recommend that the company double-check that movers have the necessary tools before arriving (my team didn't have any) and continue emphasizing good personal hygiene and cleanliness. Overall, I was pleased with the service.
I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck! The online booking process and speedy follow-up from the office staff were great. The survey phone call about what I had to move (how many rooms, how much furniture, etc.) was thorough and unrushed. The communication leading up to moving day was timely and reassuring. This was our fourth time using Two Men and a Truck. Based on our past moves we chose to use them again. What a mistake! The quality of service has really declined. To start with, the crew of 4 took 4 hours longer than was estimated. This added a HUGE increase to the cost of the move. The crew seemed to be very inexperienced when it came to moving items.
