Jimmy hauled a boat down to the Lower Mainland from my home in an out-of-the-way part of the province, where cell service is not available, and details need to be well-coordinated in advance. Last summer I picked up a surf boat in BC and was driving it across the country to Southern Ontario. After having a serious mechanical failure as I passed through Surrey, a kind bystander named Raj pulled over, helped me get sorted out on the side of the road and then took me over to Jimmy's shop.
