I had been with Twinstar for about 15 years with no real issues. It’s only been a few months with Peak after the merger and I am done. The app is an absolute mess and it seems their banking policies have changed, which has already cost me money. I addressed this thru messaging online and was lied to by the rep.
The merger with Peak has been anything BUT seamless. I have experienced bank mergers before and I've had to do nothing. It just worked. However not the case here. I've been locked out of my Twin Star account for over a week and instead of it just redirecting you, the message is "something went wrong, try again later". Furious!!! I made a bank to bank transfer yesterday. I needed the cash to buy a car. As of now, no one can tell me where my $2800 is. Chase says it's out of my account and done on their end (my balance reflects this) Twin Star has no record of it and is now giving me a song and dance about transfers taking 2-3 days!!!! In this world of immediate transactions, the fact that I'm now being told a transfer takes 2-3 days before I can access my money is unacceptable. I came running in 2 minutes to close in need of a debit card, it was a bit of an emergency, and even though I was the worst customer ever Tammy was so kind and took care of it for me. It was probably the worst timing but she did it so graciously! Thank you Tammy!!
