Charging Fees during a pandemic should be a crime! I do not recommend this credit union at all!

RecommendedI generally do love TwinStarCU. I’ve had an account with you for over 30 years. I’ve recommended you to all my friends and family but I am losing my patience with the branches being closed down and lobby’s not open, which is jamming the drive thru. I don’t have time when I “run to the bank” to be sitting there for 30 minutes. I really can’t think of an easier place to “social distance”. Would not let my elderly mom into the bank to do her banking she was told to go to the drive thru. When she told them she could not reach she was told she could get out and walk. When she asked about elderly closing their accounts and cant reach was told she could walk thru the drive thru for that too. Way to take care of our elderly Twin Star. Shame on you. Oh P.S. wr are in phase 2.
This bank actually takes money out of your savings account ($5) each time you use your main account instead of your savings. They call it “transfer fees”. They won’t refund me my own money. I do not recommend this bank.
I have been using TwinStar for about 4 years, and I have been very happy with the customer service and banking products I receive. The only complaint I have is , the app for online banking is terrible! It’s always experiencing an “unknown error” or under maintenance. The credit union itself is great, but they need to get better tech support and rethink their banking app—it’s frustrating.
let me just say, after what i experienced today, i will not be giving my business, nor would I recommend this bank to any of my friends or family. After paying off my 4 year loan a few day ago, i was surprised to see that they had withdrawaled the automatic payment amount from my account today again. So of course i called and explained what had happened. The first person I spoke with said that they would have to put me on hold for a few minutes while she checked my account. 10+ minutes later she came back to tell me she was ... read more

I literally can not say enough great things about TwinStar! I have been banking with them since my first car loan when I was 17, and have always felt valued and like family to them. Over the years through all the ups and downs in life, all I have to do is call or go in and everyone I have ever worked with has helped me find a solution.
