Cutting corners is the pervasive theme at Twin Oaks, negatively impacting every aspect of resident life. The chef is provided with the lowest quality of food, no fresh fruit, and the bare minimum of meat so that many men leave the dining room hungry and diabetics are being fed too many carbs. To save on plumbing costs, Twin Oaks was built with the studio “apartment” as just a room with a refrigerator, instead of having a kitchenette as in other facilities for preparing breakfast or any meal. Look somewhere else for your loved one. Twin Oaks was a nightmare for me, failing to relieve my burden of worrying and caring for my mom.
