Store has been closed for years
I agree! It's awful! These ladies take want they want for themselves and than tell you its "lost" or "they will get back to you about the missing item" (they never do). My mom cannot even talk about what all went "missing" (never got her money). This business should be closed. It's run by greedy women that lie to your face, steal your handbags, and hunt for rich men (wearing your designer clothes). NEVER GO THERE!
THIEVES!!!! Being that this was in River Oaks area, I went to consign some high end items (Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, etc.). While I thought their 60% cut was high, the sales lady assured me these items would have no problem moving, so I left my items in their care assuming I would at least make some decent shopping money. Once the 3 months consignment passed, I still had not received any payment and numerous calls and visits to the store to determine what had sold and requested call backs were NEVER answ... read more
CUSTOMERS BEWARE TWICE!!! – Daisy 18's review is right on! I had a similar experience with less items which never sold and one that magically "disappeared". Now I know that I was lucky to have dropped in on the date that the 3 consignment months expired, and was able to pick up 2 out of the 3 items, one of them a $550 new jacket. I never heard an apology about the lost 3rd item, a beautiful Betsy Johnson dress that I wore no more than 3 times. I was given the run around, and got no money for it. Beware! – Several months ago I decided to take some of my designer clothes to Twice New. Some of these clothes still had price tags on them and ALL were upscale designers, still current, and I still could have continued to wear, but I just had no room in my closet. Therefore, I decided to part with 68 items. When I dropped them off, I overheard the girls say that i had some "good stuff!".
