Giving 2 stars because the business account side of tvfcu is great. Poor customer service over the past year or so for the consumer side.
My favorite bank I’ve ever had!!! Everyone at the Athens branch is AMAZING!!!!
Recently moved back to the area and I wanted to have a local bank account. I had a long wait because a certain person wasn't there, so I could open an account. Finally, I was taken into an office and then asked for my social security number and I asked "what for?" then they said to check your credit score, and I thought that was weird but I didn't care so I said OK. I was denied because it was too low. That just sounds like a greedy bank to me
I have been banking with then for years can't imagine banking with anyone else!!!!
The Athens branch is always so nice and helpful. They always have a smile on their face and greet you when you go in the door.
