The Athens branch is always so nice and helpful. They always have a smile on their face and greet you when you go in the door.
Recently moved back to the area and I wanted to have a local bank account. I had a long wait because a certain person wasn't there, so I could open an account. Finally, I was taken into an office and then asked for my social security number and I asked "what for?" then they said to check your credit score, and I thought that was weird but I didn't care so I said OK. I was denied because it was too low. That just sounds like a greedy bank to me
TVFCU Athens is the most incredible credit union I’ve been too. I’ve been with them since my move from California over 2 years ago and Kali and Patrick have been absolutely amazing. I deposit every week and even when I had some issues with my license (good ole California court systems lost a birth certificate I ordered) they we patient and helpful! I don’t see myself every switching to another bank. Plus, my daughter loves their dum dum lollipops!
The online banking system is terrible. Tech support is worse. I give up on TVFCU and will close all 3 of my accounts and take my business elsewhere.
Absolutely the best helping an old lady who hates computers sign up in a new banking system. Thank you Jean Nelson. I always look for her.
