Visited in October. The fudge tastes like sugar with little to no flavoring. The store clerk (female) won't mention name, started it was buy 1/2 pound of fudge and get a 1/2 pound free. We checked out and left and got down the road and looked at receipt and was charged for both 1/2 pounds of fudge and it wasn't even anywhere near to being good fudge.
We were in the night before leaving town, just after eating dinner. We were planning to get the creamy fudge we were craving. We bought 3 pkgs and got 1 free. Back to our hotel room, we got the fudge out and it was hard as a rock. Dry, brittle, and horrible. The fudge was individually wrapped in plastic wrap and had to be old. We were going to return it the next day but needed to leave by 8 am and the shop didn’t open until 10 $40 down the drain. Never will I buy fudge where samples are not offered. What a waste of money….
