Awful Adminstrators – I've had nothing but horrible experiences with the administration of this school. Apparently their executive director is new - I miss the old one. As much as my daughter loved her teacher and Tuneful class, I dreaded having to communicate with the other employees. My worst experiences have been with their program director who is always negative and I think often drunk (or at least hungover). This school offers a horrible environment for children. You need to find the right teacher – My 10 year old son has been taking piano classes at TBMS for two years. Unlike some of the other music schools I called, the women in charge of children's piano classes cared that we found the exact right teacher for him. The piano teachers there are all quite different. The first one he had toured a lot and so there was a lack of continuity. However, it was no problem for him to change to a different teacher and the results have been great. Terrible Suzuki Program – Their Tuneful Sequence program is wonderful and both my children thrived there. However, please be warned about their suzuki program. It is a totally different management then their regular music programs and they are horrible. They do not have the children's best interest at heart. We wanted our son who is 3 to have an great first experience but the teachers are young, inexperienced and do not condone a nuturing, safe enviroment for young children to learn.
