My Partner and I went to have a look for a dress to wear to an upcoming wedding. There was a great selection of dresses/gowns in a variety of colours and styles. Whilst we were looking, I had a beief look for a wedding dress for myself. I was surprised and ecstatic to find one...a beautiful dress, in the clearance section which would only require a few alterations. Being a plus size person is incredibly hard to find a dress and yet today within 5minutes of being in your store, you had picked out the perfect dress and i was standing there feeling like a princess. Thank you so much for my dream wedding dress, when I walked in I was feeling low and like I would never find the dress, straight away you knew the perfect wedding dress for me. The kindness you showed made rhe experience amazing. Thank you for making a very sad bride and a incredibly happy one.
Went to the shop to buy a dress for my school formal with my friend. The only thing the worker really critiqued about my friends' dress choices was one of them would be massive on her. Then a bit after, I was about to try on a dress, and the lady took the dress, said she thought it would be out of my price range (it was not) and then took me to the clearence rack.
I visited to try on wedding dresses and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. From the beginning, Jo (who I have now learnt is the store owner) came across as quite judgemental when I mentioned I wasn’t ready to make a purchase and was simply exploring styles. Despite clearly communicating this, any dress I showed interest in was immediately flagged if it was outside my budget, which made the experience feel uncomfortable rather than supportive.
