Worse Manager ever
A thief stole my check out of a mail can in front of the post office. He "washed" my check and made it payable to himself. Luckily, Trustco sensed something and called me to see if I did write it to him. I had to close my account and open a new one. They were extremely helpful professional and courteous with this awful situation and big shout out to Alex & William for everything!

I had the pleasure of working with John Mariani to set up a business account for my brand new company. I was extremely nervous and lacking mentorship, and expressed my absolute cluelessness to John. He took the time to explain every aspect of the account and what I could do with it, which put me at ease and was very appreciated. I stopped in (with my newborn, and if you have kids you know that’s quite a feat) just to exchange some rolled change into bills because my bank was already closed. I was told I had to have an account to do so, which seems a little ridiculous. Then I was asked if I wanted to open an account, and it was clear that my doing so would be more beneficial to the teller than to me. Why would I want to open an account when my only experience with the company was asking to do something simple and they couldn’t handle that small task…
