Wonderful Bank with friendly and professional service. The bank manager, Dorothy, is so kind and professional. She goes above and beyond to address all my concerns. She is always busy but will take the time to always say hello with a smile. Great friendly atmosphere with exceptional service. A nice, professional, and friendly hometown bank!!

I am writing a review for the head teller at 1450 western ave Head Teller Anu. Anu is a great assest to Trustco Bank. I have been a loyal customer of trustco for over 15 years. Never have I had a Bank transaction with Anu that has been nothing but spectacular, Curtious and well done. Always has a smile for me and goes out of her way to make sure my expierence is awesome. Never in my life have I experienced a more unprofessional gentleman, who promised us the world. He was a fast talker, cocky as can be, and when it was time to fund my loan, he disappeared after it got denied. He would not help me get answers as to why it was denied, if there were any other options my family and I had. We went to Albert Estopinal as he came SO highly recommended by a friend. Both my parents passed away and my brother was the beneficiary on an account. This has been such a difficult time for all of us. This Nyack NY Trust Co played games with my brother all week. It was an account that was initiated out of state by my parents. Trustco Nyack used every excuse possible to deter the withdrawal. It was his MONEY!!!! I applied for a refi on an investment property. I was told at the time the process would be easy and the paperwork minimal. Nothing could be further from the truth. Now, 5 months later, despite diligently responding to all Trustco requests, and they were endless, I was told that the loan application has expired and I will have to pay a $1,000 late fee. The worst experience i have had in 30 years in real estate.
I have my mortgage here and I am stuck but I cannot stand to deal with this bank. They hooked me in by saving a few hundred dollars in closing costs, but 4 years later I would have gladly paid the extra to have no association with these people. I feel violated each time after dealing with them. For my mortgage, they had me get the tenant in the 2 family building I purchased to write a letter saying she would not mind if I was her landlord, we were both tenants in the building at the time.
