Virginia at the State Farm Rd Trustco Branch is a wealth of knowledge, dedicated,, friendly hard -worker, who goes above and beyond for her clients. I am so grateful for all her support, time and effort she has and continues to help me with.
Two gripes: it often seems like there is a glitch of some sort when I go to this branch. I was trying to make a deposit (ie give them money, not get any) and was asked for identification. My other gripe is with Trustco in general: there is no central phone number where you can resolve issues. They decentalize to the branches. It is just not as convenient as say Key where you can handle a lot by phone.
I plan on switching over from keybank as I am tired of all the fraud I've had to deal with. Also with my trustco account I got as a tester to see if I liked it, I can account with more information. There is more information on the statements compared to a crappy CSV file from Keybank. MY other option with key is to PAY 60$ a month so I can do something basic like TRACK MY SPENDING HABITS. Might close out Key ngl because customer service is a robot too... I PREFER PEOPLE LIKE HELLO?!?!?!
Trustco bank is without a doubt the worst bank in the capital region, the fact that they have not been bought out or “merged” with a larger bank is astounding. First and foremost they are hilariously behind in the times when it comes to any IT support, I submit a mobile deposit and it is rejected. I reach out to customer support for an explanation and am told the email will state explicitly why, I read it word for word to the guy “re deposit item at branch”, he states the result is the same you need to re deposit at the bran... read more
