I will never recommend anyone to do business here. I tried doing a small home equity loan with Trustco. After submitting my application, I was never contacted. I had to personally reach out after a month to see the status of my application. While the management was polite, they are constantly switching management and they don't serve a purpose other than being a clueless middle-man for the underwriters who suck. I was hoping that I found a bank that was on the ball but, they dropped it on me big time. After contacting the branch in Ormond Beach about doing a HELOC loan, in a first mortgage position and speaking to the branch manger/loan officer several times about the loan parameters, spending 4 hours going through the application in detail and gathering all the information they wanted, they then tell me the can't do the loan.
