I walked in to cash my check and the women helping me said if you aren't a customer here we don't cash your check here. I have never heard of something like that . This bank is a joke that's why they have the reviews they have

Kingston location on website says open on Saturdays from 9a to 12pm. Went on 23 July and drive thru is closed as well as lobby?? No additional signs posted saying location is closed. Had a dep to make... Not great
Been with Trustco Bank for 20 years. Today I traveled and tried using my card and was denied. Called this bank and they want an accounting of where you are going and what are you doing and the dates you are traveling. They told me this policy has been in place for a long time. This is a lie. I traveled to Florida last year with no problems. Such an embarrassing situation to be declined and not get food. If you want to tracked this bank is for you.
