If there were a zero star option, this band of thieves would have earned it. They steal consignment saddles and sell them, then keep the money. Their BBB score is F due to dozens unresolved complaints of this business practice. Their business model is stealing. If you buy a consignment saddle from here, odds are you are purchasing stolen goods. Don't take my word for it; google them and buyer (and consigner) BEWARE.

Do not be fooled by their niceness. I sent a used saddle to them to sell. They never acknowledged receipt of the saddle. I had to call them. When I would call to inquire about the saddle they were so confused and had to call me back. In October of this year they called with an offer for my saddle which I accepted. Again all of this was by phone nothing by email. Their consignment contract states the consignor will be paid the end of the month after the shop receives payment. ***Horrible Customer Service*** The company lied about the shipping cost and lied about the tree size. Therefore, I had to pay $100 at my own cost because of the company's inability to provide decent service/information. Trumbull Mountain had the opportunity to fix the situation and I possibly would have bought/tried out another used saddle. Instead, all I recieved was attitude and low remarks regarding my "misunderstanding."

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TRUMBULL MOUNTAIN TACK!!! I sent my Dressage saddle to be sold in April 2016...It finally sold in October 2016...I had to call Jay several times to adjust the price because according to Jay it had no activity. Jay has no people skills and is kind of rude and arrogant. This is a totally mismanaged and dishonest company. I had done business with this group in the past with no issue. They took over a year to sell my dressage saddle. I had to write numerous emails for them to reduce the price to sell it. It sold in June, it is mid August 2016 and I have not received a check even though I was promised it was mailed. Horrible company. Do not send a saddle to consign to this tack store.

I put my saddle on consignment here because it had a good reputation. Unfortunately, that reputation has gotten tarnished. I'm still waiting on a check for the saddle that was sold in February.

Trumbull sold my saddle in late December or early January and I am still waiting for my payment. I have been told several times that they are mailing the check. It is now March 25 and still no check. Extremely disappointed. They don't deserve one star.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I was looking to buy a used saddle and the staff seemed helpful at first. When I received the saddle that I was interested in buying, I tried on my horse it was a tree size larger than what was advertised online. When I called Trumbull Mountain telling them about the issue, they became defensive and denied that there was any problem. They still charged me the full price of return when they messed up! They seem to know their stuff, which is why they got two stars. However, during a recent saddle purchase, I discovered they have very poor quality control, terrible customer service, and can be quite rude when asked to fix mistakes. I still do not have the saddle I ordered. Sadly, their poor attitude cost them additional purchases of fittings and another saddle. I will never order from them again.
