Not sure why there are many bad reviews here. I’m new to this bank and all my needs are always taken care of quickly and the tellers are always friendly and helpful. It’s a nice change of pace from my previous bank. I’m all about truist now. Thanks for treating me like a person when I come in!
I have just opened a bank account here and deposited $500. Just moving to the Roanoke area, starting a new job, a new apartment etc. so it’s a pretty stressful situation. I went to the Franklin rd. Truist to withdraw $100 because my debit card hasn’t came in the mail yet. My available account balance was $500 yet the bank teller refused to let me withdraw money trying to claim the money hasn’t posted yet. Pitiful
Run the other way fast
Truist in general has forgotten that their primary role for the Majority of their customers, is to provide a service. Instead, they attempt to control how, and when you are able to access your own money by placing daily limits on debit cards, which many times they refuse to modify, evert after you go thru the difficult process of actually getting to speak to a human. Go find another bank, almost any other bank would be preferable, but particularly one that focuses on the individual... Not one that seems to believe their own ... read more
