Truist Bank (Pikesville) placed a hold on me and my mothers checking and savings accounts when a filed garnishment only applied to me. Truist has failed to confirm with legal counsel for the contractor that placed the garnishment, that legal counsel needs to correct the paperwork to apply to only to me and will not do so. Tellers energy was not customer service friendly. I used to come to this branch before I moved back to Owings Mills and always had a good experience. Staff at that time was pleasant, friendly and helpful. I am now moving back to Pikesville, but after dealing with a teller at the Pikesville location today, I think I'll keep doing business in Owings Mills. On February 3rd I discovered that a contractor filed a garnishment on my bank accounts. This action caught my 89 year old mother and her accounts up as well. This is because I am an additional signer on her accounts. There is no judgment against my mother. Truist has not removed the garnishment from her accounts, which is impacting her health and life insurance premium payments that were sent in prior to this action. Those accounts need to be released.
