I opened my account in February of this Year for the first time ever and I have never been a customer before with them. However, I worked very hard to abide by the requirements that were needed because I had a promotional online code to receive $400 after having Direct Deposit for $2000 along with 20 debit card transactions within a 120 days, and guess what, they did not give me the reward I was promised, instead they screwed me over. So whatever you do, do not have a relationship with this bank period.

Recently I went to the branch to inquire about my 5-month CD which I had let renew automatically for the last 2 years they proceeded to tell me that I earned $20 over that period of time the reason being that the original percentage of 4.8 dropped each time to 0.2 % now this may be common banking practice but I think it's thievery. While the vice president and the lady that called back from the bank we're nice enough, they really didn't resolve the issue. I will therefore not be doing any banking with Truist ever again
