Average bank. I went soon after they opened in the morning, with only one person in line in front of me (inside). The drive up was busy. I just needed to make a simple deposit and it was pretty quick and easy. It was weird to find the entrance though. Everything looked like the back of the bank.
If you’re a small business don’t work with these people. My family business opened an account there and deposited checks. We got through all the procedures and was told the money would be deposited in a few days after the checks were processed. My partner gets informed the account has been shut down due to suspicious activity / fraud. I’m trying to understand how that is when the checks could have easily been verified. This is the 4 Truist bank I went to so I can get a letter notarized. I was told by the manager lily Onojafe that she spent her own money get her notary license and she does not do any documents unless I am getting a loan with her. She said she is aware that Truist offers this as a service to their customer but she doesn’t want to deal with it unless it’s a loan document. I can not believe the level disrespect I have gotten from these branches today for a service Truist promised to provide when I opened the account.
Don’t bother coming to the Clinton, MD location unless you “got time today.” Actively looking for another bank. We were previously with BBT and were rolled over to Truist. Truist is horrible.
