Horrible sitting in line now 20 minutes and nothing is happening. Called the bank they said they are open. Still 5 minutes later nothing is happening. 43 % approval is to high.
I’ve been banking with Truist for years, but my experience today at the drive-through was extremely disappointing. After sending my money and bank card through the slot, I wasn’t greeted or acknowledged. I had to press the call button just to get a response. When the banker finally answered, she sounded frustrated, rude, and unprofessional. She initially told me I couldn’t cash my check, which was confusing because I’ve cashed the same check multiple times at this location and others. Average bank. I went soon after they opened in the morning, with only one person in line in front of me (inside). The drive up was busy. I just needed to make a simple deposit and it was pretty quick and easy. It was weird to find the entrance though. Everything looked like the back of the bank.
If you’re a small business don’t work with these people. My family business opened an account there and deposited checks. We got through all the procedures and was told the money would be deposited in a few days after the checks were processed. My partner gets informed the account has been shut down due to suspicious activity / fraud. I’m trying to understand how that is when the checks could have easily been verified. Now THOUSANDS of dollars are just out in the ether (supposedly they will re-mail the checks in 3-10 days). ... read more
