I use Ally bank which does not have a physical location. I have always been able to make a withdrawal at any bank and pay the fee (which Ally reimburses me). Today I was told that I cannot in fact withdraw money and if I use one of their ATMs they would "try" to give me change from 20s to 100s. The older lady helped me and she was extremely rude, huffing/sighing at me. All I did was smile say thanks and leave. I am actually confused if this is a bank?Good luck coming here! Truist is a dysfunctional bank. It's an embarrassment. Do not consider banking with Truist. Look for a local credit union. Here's a snapshot of our years of experiences as someone who was with Suntrust, and was grandfathered into Truist. • HELOC loan under BB&T wasn't locked in as we signed off and requested, and paperwork under BB&T was lost and never sent to us.We began getting letters from Truist in August, but dated for March, warning us that our APR was going up by 5%. The ATM was being serviced so I pulled to the drive up window to make a deposit. The teller's back was to me so I hit the button in case they didn't know I was there. She came over to the window and berated me for hitting the button because she was busy helping people in the lobby. I told her I had no problem waiting, I just wanted to let them know I was there.
