Truist is the worst! As a new member I am not satisfied at all. My job paid me with a paper check because for some reason my direct deposit has not kicked in yet. I go to Truist to deposit most of my check but get some in cash to hold me over until my check clears because it was late Friday when I went to the bank. I get there after work and am told I can’t get cash, I have to deposit the whole thing. The employees of Truist Bank on Bridge Rd. are not knowledgeable nor friendly. My husband needed a copy of payoff for his vehicle that he had a loan from there. First they had the wrong address. We moved to our house 6 years ago. My husband got a loan from them 3 years ago. The woman proceeded to tell him that he needed to let them know that our address changed. He said I got the loan here. I went to this bank to do a simple transaction. This was the most awful experience I have ever experienced at a bank. They messed up during the transaction and then tried to say the system messed up and put it on other things. It was their fault even when it was verified it was their fault. I was very offended by the people at this bank. They were not knowledgeable about what they were supposed to do and unprofessional. They made the mistake, they should have owned up to the mistake. They cant figure out how to do a simple withdrawal. I sat in the drive thru line and then had to come in and it took 25 minutes or so. Unreal. They don't even have pens out I could use to sign anything. This bank is the worst experience I've had at a branch. Sad 1 star facility.
10/19/2024 who ever is working today is lazy. They cost me my Saturday. Would not cash a check for them and put into my account for me to pay someone else bill today. Ive had all types of checks cashed during the week days. However ive never seen these people working today and i will never step foot in there if Simone Parham. I will no longer use the human services before of lazy employees, who are doing the minimum. I closed my savings account account because of the foolishness.
