Really disappointed with my experience here. I've been running my own business for a long time and have cashed plenty of checks without any issues — this is the first time I've run into this kind of holdup. They told me they needed to contact the person who wrote the check before they'd cash it for me, which held up something that should've been a quick, routine transaction. I get that banks have to be careful, but this felt excessive for a normal check-cashing request, especially from someone who's been a longtime customer.... read more
