Marjorie was a great help to me today!
Bad experience with this bank! I got an account back in December to try them out. I didn't like some things about the processing times and decided I wanted to close my account. To that end, I went to do an ACH and found they charge a $3 fee. Ridiculous. I then attempted to do a zelle transfer of the funds in the Truist to another of my accounts at a different bank and they threw up a fraud alert with a phone number to call. Tried to print my tax account form but they stated that they could not print it and I would have to call in to receive my form. I don't understand why they can't print it. I have my account number and other information. Account is paid off this past January so they closed the account online. This is dumb.
I have been looking for a new bank to entrust with my finances. However, when it comes to building a relationship with a new bank, I like to trial out the account first before I start just opening extra accounts. In addition, I like to share minimal information until I feel comfortable. I can say that, my first interaction with this branch was off to a rough start. Beware. Don't bank on them. Avoid this bank at all costs. No service at all. Wrong commitments, misrepresentations, and retracting statements made. Unscrupulous people. Mr Vincent comes across very rude and insensitive. Staff here dont know diff between citizenship and residency. Show no interest in opening genuine accounts.
