Bad experience with this bank! I got an account back in December to try them out. I didn't like some things about the processing times and decided I wanted to close my account. To that end, I went to do an ACH and found they charge a $3 fee. Ridiculous. I then attempted to do a zelle transfer of the funds in the Truist to another of my accounts at a different bank and they threw up a fraud alert with a phone number to call. Tried to print my tax account form but they stated that they could not print it and I would have to call in to receive my form. I don't understand why they can't print it. I have my account number and other information. Account is paid off this past January so they closed the account online. This is dumb.
I have been looking for a new bank to entrust with my finances. However, when it comes to building a relationship with a new bank, I like to trial out the account first before I start just opening extra accounts. In addition, I like to share minimal information until I feel comfortable. I can say that, my first interaction with this branch was off to a rough start.
