Have had Trina doing our taxes for years, and has always been incredibly responsive, even during the busiest times. We have had very complex and unusual circumstances, and she took the time to figure it all out, and we left with confidence it was done right.
Complete lack of communication. We had a very simple tax return and were charged $275 after paying $100 when we took it in which is what we assumed was the total. Tina did not tell us what the final cost would be until the return was done and we went to pick it up. On top of that, it took 6 weeks of prodding to get it done. After raising hell, we were charged the $100 as we had expected. Next year we’re using Turbo Tax! Don’t have a CFP do your taxes unless it’s really complicated. Lesson learned.
