Dr. Gao treated me for a very painful case of sciatica. The pain was gone after three treatments. Dr. Gao is very knowledgeable, kind and gentle. The office atmosphere is calm and friendly. I will periodically continue to see Dr. Gao to maintain my current level of wellness. I am so satisfied with my experience with Dr. Gao.
This is my first experience with acupuncture treatment. I had a severe neck and shoulder pain and couldn't turn my head. After taking ibuprofen and muscle relaxer medicine for a few days without any relief, I started searching for alternative treatment and found Dr. Gao's Troy Acupuncture & Wellness Center. Dr. Gao is amazing! My 86 year old mom was having excruciating shoulder pain. She tried physical therapy, but after 3 sessions of PT, it seemed to make it worse. I decided to bring her to see Dr. Gao. After just a couple acupuncture sessions, my mom felt relief. Dr. Gao suggested she come for 12 sessions to resolve the issue and she was absolutely correct. Love Dr. Gao and the whole office. Everyone is so nice and it is incredible how much my stress has been reduced, pain has been managed and I am even sleeping so much better.
