I was married in the R Kelly White Chapel of Belmont Heights Baptist Church on Oct 21, 1971. Later when Belmont College obtained control of the church property, they tore the floor out with the church's Fellowship Hall below it. That became the Trout Theater. While still the R Kelly White Chapel, portions of the movie "Nashville" were filmed there. One of my coworkers was in the background in one of the Chapel scenes sitting in a pew. (Yes, still married!)
Beautiful theatre on Belmont University campus.
Good place to have the orientation. Looks like a great venue for the arts overall.
