You'll find art from talented local artisans sold at Troika. Do ask questions about pieces, as pieces are made from techniques not found other places. Having worked at a gallery in the Dallas area I can assist to the unique pieces you will find at Troika. Though the artisan made not have made the piece, they will be very knowledgeable of their work as if they were the artisan themself. This is rare. Love the pottery here, so many talented artists! The folks working at the store are friendly and either are one of the artists or know them. Stop in and browse, maybe buy a few pieces. Always something that will catch your eye. And now is a good time to get a gift or add to or start a new collection at home.
What a treasure!
Troika is definitely one of the highlights of Floyd! Every time I go, I find a new treasure. There's a variety of hand-crafted items including jewelry, textiles, and many different styles of pottery. I highly recommend a visit!
