Supermarket prices are slightly higher compared to India Bazaar. We tried the goat biryani, but it had very little meat, mostly bones and the meat didn’t taste very fresh. The pottalam biryani was decent in comparison. We also tried a few sweets, which were just okay. This rating is based on my first visit and overall initial experience.
Triveni Supermarket is a fantastic spot for fresh produce and Indian groceries. Their vegetable collection is top-notch — everything looked fresh and well-stocked. The food court is a definite highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options that cater to all tastes. We especially loved the fresh mangoes — incredibly sweet and flavorful! They also carry fresh fish, though unfortunately it was out of stock during our visit. Overall, a great place to shop for quality ingredients and grab a quick bite.
So Good! Tried this Indian food court and the food was awesome — super tasty and fresh. We also ordered a cake for my uncle’s 50th birthday, and they made the best-looking cake ever! It tasted amazing too. Really happy with everything. Will definitely go back!
Very disappointed with Triveni. Before ordering the biriyani, I specifically asked about the spice level because I cannot eat very spicy food due to a medical condition. I was assured that it was “very mild,” but that was completely misleading. The biriyani turned out to be extremely spicy. Even my wife, who normally enjoys very spicy food, found it too spicy. Triveni is a great blessing to the South Riding area. Its a convenient one stop shop for Indian groceries and vegetables. In addition, the big attraction is their restaurant in the back. It has a huge menu and serve a lot of variety. Service is awesome. Quick and courteous. Most of the dishes we tried were decent. The black forest pastry brought back nostalgic memories of childhood in India. A very convenient and useful feature in the neighborhood.
